A not-for-profit foundation that operates in the public interest to encourage a prosperous, sustainable future through education and experience in engineering, science, technology and innovation.

The foundation believes that technological advances should be driven by the needs of humanity and that an inspired knowledge of science, engineering and technology can positively influence quality of life, career options for young people, and the prospects of future generations.

Because life’s inspirations begin in childhood, the foundation will support children in their discovery, appreciation and enjoyment of science and technology by providing resources, experiences and learning opportunities.

Technology Award 2010

This year's Technology Award was given out at the RCS graduation ceremony on Saturday. This year the award went to two recipients Jakob Cronk and Eugene Cronk. Jakob Cronk pictured above will be attending SUNY Cobleskill in the fall and will be studying Landscape Design. Eugene Cronk and Jakob Cronk are members of the National Technical Honor Society and have been successful in the area of building technologies throughout their high school  career. GRLIC was honored to present them with this award. Jenn Schuman, GRLIC President, (pictured above) presented the award and described the accomplishments of both Jakob and Eugene.

Something is happening at GRLIC

Something is happening at GRLIC...... Have you heard what it is? When was the last time you check out what was happening at GRLIC............

Next Saturday, GRLIC will award its 2010 Technology Award to a Roxbury Central School Graduating Senior. We are so excited for this years award, but you will have to come to Graduation to find out who is this year recipient. I can tell you that they deserve it!

You can also find out who receives this award next week right here on GRLIC where we will post pictures from the ceremony and celebrate. This years award is a netbook computer. Someone you know may be walking around next week with a brand new netbook!
